The 11th annual Method Fest, which focuses on the truth and realism to the world of acting is going from March 26 – April 2 at the Regency Agoura Hills 8 Theatre over in Calabasas, California.
The festival will also feature free youth workshops including: filmmaking, screen-writing, acting, youth screening, and youth bands.
Other notable festivities within Method Fest – Indie Music Night, featuring independent bands, trios and acoustic acts at the Sagebrush Cantina; and Centerpiece Film & Reception, featuring on two nights and will showcase two independent films.
In total, the festival will feature a total of 33 feature films from seven countries and the U.S. Also this festival will screen 10 short film programs and shorts preceding the features.
The awards ceremony will be on April 2nd at the Calabasas Civic Center.
When Life Was Good (2008)
A comedy-drama revolving around three friends: Brooklyn (Kristine Cofsky),
an aspiring actress who arrives home from studying abroad to celebrate her
boyfriend Ben’s birthday; her best friend Faith (Keri Horton) who has to confront her relationship issues while managing her ambition as a dancer; and Casey (Casey Manderson), a struggling screenwriter needing help to get his play developed from the ground up.
A story of life struggle as these three friends try to make something of themselves and dealing with conflicting emotions, unexpected intimacy and the demands of the real world.

Hey Hey It’s Esther Blueburger (2008)
A story about Esther Blueburger (Danielle Catanzariti), a shy but lonely girl trying to fit in at her private school. At home, she struggles making ground with her loudful parents. One day she meets Sunni (Keisha Castle-Hughes), an outspoken and daring girl at a neighboring public school and life for Esther changes immediately.
A funny and witty story of life changes as Esther becomes a women with the celebration of her Bar Mitzvah. She soon realizes that life is much more than just fitting in – she only wanted to be herself.

Finding Bliss (2008)
