Apl.de.ap, Will.i.am and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas will headline the “Rebuild!” Benefit Concert for Typhoon Haiyan Survivors on Sunday, June 8th at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Spearheaded by the Apl.de.ap Foundation (ADAF), the charitable organization founded by BEP Apl.de.dap, the concert will bring together artists from various musical genres as well as from countries from around the world.
Expected celebrity attendees include: Apl.de.ap, Will.i.am and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas, Jabbawockeez, Talib Kweli, Dub FX, Yardnoise, Michael Yo, Slapshock, Leah McFall, Nia Peeples, Mark Dacascos, DJ Mia, DJ Ammo and DJ Poet.
The proceeds of the concert will be dispersed by the ADAF to several projects and NGOs based in the Philippines who are doing direct work to help the survivors of the devastation, in particular, a special PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) program targeted at children and teachers in Tacloban and surrounding areas.
